Tarragona International is a registered non-profit association that unites international talent in our province. With over 1,000 members along the Costa Daurada, we foster friendship and personal connections through diverse initiatives in sports, culture, arts, and business. Our community serves as a vital platform for economic progress, integration, cultural exchange, and mutual support, driving meaningful impact across the region.
Economic Progress
Talent is the new capital. Today business cannot thrive without it. Our economy depends on it. Yet, what is done to attract and retain it? Finding and hiring talent is only one part of the story. Only if we help them make friends and make them feel at home, will they stay.
Integration
Talent that settles here doesn´t want to feel like a tourist. Integration in local life and culture is essential. Having meaningful relations with locals is enriching for all. Integration is one of Tarragona International´s most important goals.
Cultural Exchange
More than 30 nationalities are represented in Tarragona International. People from Europe but also from Azerbeijan to China and from Canada to Chile. This is a treasure trove of culture. We plan to organize an annual international day where people from Tarragona can discover all these cultures and make connections with internationals who live here.
Mutual Support
Our members organize activities for each other and form groups. We have 52 different activity groups. People help each other. A great example is Kevin, a young Catalan who joined our community a year ago. He is a local who loves to be around people from other countries. Kevin helps organize and participates in hiking trips while he improves his English through our community. Kevin is fluent now.
